Job summary

Sweco in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Graduate Transport Planner to join our Infrastructure & Environment Division. In this two-year graduate scheme, you will contribute to the delivery of transport planning projects from inception to strategy development and business case preparation.

You will work with experienced consultants to build your skills in data analysis, policy review and reporting, while benefiting from flexible, hybrid working and mentorship from leaders across the business

Qualifications

• Degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
• Less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
• Motivated, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and interpret data relating to transport systems.
• Support the development and appraisal of transport strategies and business cases.
• Undertake policy research to inform project recommendations.
• Provide day-to-day technical input as part of a team.
• Produce clear reports, notes and presentations communicating data clearly.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage allocated tasks with managers to meet scope and budget.
• Engage with PD Scheme to progress toward Chartered status.
