Job summary

Curtins Group Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner in Manchester to join a structured development programme within an employee-owned consultancy. You will work with experienced planners, engineers and consultants across transport planning tasks and projects.

You'll develop technical and professional skills through the Curtins Graduate Academy, with mentoring, training and support for professional registration. Join a team that values integrity, curiosity and impact.

Qualifications

• Studying towards or recently completed a degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Town Planning or related field.
• Possess MSc in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning or Development Planning is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Supporting the production of Travel Plans and technical planning reports.
• Analysing traffic, transport and movement data.
• Assisting with junction assessments and development impact studies.
• Supporting planning applications for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Working alongside planners, civil engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Attending client meetings, project discussions and stakeholder consultations.
• Taking part in wider Curtins activities including STEM outreach, charity initiatives and community projects.
