Job summary

Curtins Consulting Ltd. is seeking motivated Transport Planners to join our Manchester team. The role involves advising on site access, transport strategies, and sustainability across diverse UK and Ireland projects, collaborating with planners, architects and other professionals.

You will contribute to planning documents including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statements, aiming to deliver high-quality planning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Held a relevant degree (or equivalent) and actively working towards a professional qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Transport planner, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Experience preparing planning reports and transport-related documents (TA, Travel Plans, ES chapters).
• Familiar with transport policy, guidance, and site layout considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of projects by advising on site access, transport strategies, and sustainability.
• Contribute to Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statements chapters.
• Collaborate with planning consultants, architects and other teams on layouts and designs.
• Lead on or assist with planning reports and related documentation as required.
