Job summary
Curtins is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner in Leeds to work with experienced planners and engineers on a range of transport and development projects. You will contribute to assessments, statements and plans while developing technical and professional skills within a structured graduate programme.
You'll engage in traffic data analysis, travel planning, and planning applications across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes, with mentorship and opportunities for chartership and career
Qualifications
- Degree-level studies in transport planning or related field preferred.
- MSc in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning or Development Planning advantageous.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; keen to learn and develop professionally.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
- Support production of Travel Plans and technical planning reports.
- Analyse traffic, transport and movement data.
- Assist with junction assessments and development impact studies.
- Support planning applications for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
- Attend client meetings, project discussions and stakeholder consultations.
- Participate in Curtins activities including STEM outreach and community projects.
