Curtins, an employee-owned engineering consultancy, invites applications for a Graduate Transport Planner in Leeds. You will work with experienced planners, engineers and consultants on transport assessments, travel plans and planning reports, developing your technical and professional skills.

Our structured Curtins Graduate Academy accelerates your growth through mentoring, technical training and support towards Chartered status, with exposure to residential, commercial and regeneration

Qualifications

• We are looking for graduates who are curious, analytical and interested in how development projects are planned and delivered.
• Ideal candidates may be studying towards or have recently completed a degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Town Planning, or related disciplines.
• A MSc in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, or Development Planning is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Support the production of Travel Plans and technical planning reports.
• Analyse traffic, transport and movement data.
• Assist with junction assessments and development impact studies.
• Support planning applications for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Work alongside planners, civil engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Attend client meetings, project discussions and stakeholder consultations.
• Participate in wider Curtins activities including STEM outreach, charity initiatives and community projects.
