Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to join our employee-owned engineering consultancy. You will work with experienced planners, engineers and consultants on diverse projects, developing technical and professional skills for your career.

You will gain experience in transport assessments, travel planning, data analysis and development planning, while receiving structured development through Curtins Graduate Academy and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Town Planning, Geography or related discipline.
• MSc in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, or Development Planning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
• Support the production of Travel Plans and technical planning reports.
• Analyse traffic, transport and movement data.
• Assist with junction assessments and development impact studies.
• Support planning applications for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Work with planners, civil engineers and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Attend client meetings and stakeholder consultations.
• Participate in wider Curtins activities including STEM outreach and community projects.
