Job summary

Haskoning invites a Consultant Transport Modeller to join the Integrated Transport Planning team in the UK. You will develop and calibrate multi‑modal models (Aimsun), support scenario testing and place‑based strategies across diverse projects.

Work with a multidisciplinary team, share knowledge, mentor junior colleagues and grow your transport modelling skills in a supportive, purpose‑driven culture. Hybrid work and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-modal transport modelling using Aimsun or similar tools.
• Familiarity with GIS for spatial analysis and presenting outputs.
• Understands UK transport policy and WebTAG appraisal framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience on small to medium transport projects in public/infrastructure contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, calibrate and apply multi-modal transport models to support strategies and proposals.
• Support transport modelling for public transport, infrastructure, highway design, and development-led schemes.
• Aid scenario testing, appraisal and reporting in line with UK guidance.
• Collaborate with UK and Dutch modelling specialists to integrate outputs into wider strategies.
• Share knowledge and support early-career colleagues and industry events.
