Job summary

AZTRUM in Nottingham is seeking a Graduate Traffic Engineer to join a market-leading consultancy. You will be trained to deliver Transport Assessments, feasibility studies and various traffic analyses as part of a supportive team.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Civil Engineering or Traffic/Transport Engineering and are keen on traffic, transport planning and highways. UK project experience is preferred, with hybrid working from Nottingham.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering or Traffic/Transport Engineering and a keen interest in traffic, transport planning and highways.
• UK work experience on traffic/transport projects is preferred.
• Graduate role with training in traffic engineering and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Transport Assessments and Statements.
• Conduct Feasibility Studies and Travel Plans.
• Develop Traffic Modelling and Microsimulation studies.
• Carry out Junction Assessments.
• Support Cycle to Work schemes.
• Perform Swept Path Analysis / Vehicle Tracking.
• Assist with Traffic Calming Schemes and Traffic Surveys.
• Contribute to Microsimulation Modelling analyses.

Candidates are required to have a BSc in Civil Engineering, Traffic and Transport Engineering or a relevant discipline and a keen interest in traffic, transport planning and highways.

UK work experience completing traffic and transport projects is preferred.

Candidates are required to work from Nottingham on a hybrid basis.
