Penguin Recruitment Ltd. are seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join their Dover-based team. You will assist with planning applications, policy research, and development assessments to support a busy consultancy serving residential, leisure, retail and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Support planning appraisals and development potential assessments.
• Undertake planning policy research and review local planning documents.
• Assist with preparation of planning statements, reports and representations.
• Support senior colleagues with appeals and enforcement matters.
• Assist with development plan and Local Plan representations.
• Liaise with local planning authorities and other professional consultants.
• Undertake site visits and gather information to support planning advice.
• Monitor planning applications and progress projects through the planning process.
