Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Support planning appraisals and development potential assessments.
• Undertake planning policy research and review local planning documents.
• Assist with preparation of planning statements, reports and representations.
• Support senior colleagues with appeals and enforcement matters.
• Assist with development plan and Local Plan representations.
• Liaise with local planning authorities and other professional consultants.
• Undertake site visits and gather information to support planning advice.
• Monitor planning applications and progress projects through the planning process.

Duties for the role of Graduate Town Planner:

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications
• Supporting planning appraisals and development potential assessments
• Undertaking planning policy research and reviewing local planning documents

• Supporting senior colleagues with planning appeals and enforcement matters

Requirements for the role of Graduate Town Planner:

• A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning or a closely related discipline which is RTPI accredited
