Job Description:

Graduate Technical Support Engineer, with a passion for innovation and technology, required to join a global leading sensor and vision systems engineering company based in Kettering.

My client is looking for someone who is technically oriented, ideally with a technical engineering degree, who enjoys learning about new products and understanding new technologies. All successful candidates must have at least 6 months experience working with automation or related products, ideally with experience of PLCs, vision systems, lasers, sensors, or related products.

The Package:

Salary – £25,000-£35,000 (DOE)
Working hours – 8:30-17:00
Bonus based on individual and company performance (circa £6,000)
Pension Scheme 3%
23 days holiday + bank holidays increasing with length of service

The Role:

• Active consultation of GB customers in applications as well as their optimization.
• Independent development of ideas and innovative concepts for the implementation of customer applications.
• Technical training for employees and customers.
• Supporting customers when commissioning our products.
• Contact person for technical questions for the sales team.
• To be part of an exciting and fast-growing industry and company.
• Exciting projects in industrial automation within the context of Industry 4.0.
• Possibility to develop your own ideas.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in electronics or electro/mechanical discipline.
• Ideally, work experience within automation, vision systems, camera technologies, sensors, or similar.
• Knowledge of vision processing and laser 2D/3D would be an advantage.
