Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking ambitious graduates to join our Technical Project Management and Technical Advisory teams. You will support project delivery across sectors and gain exposure to business cases, design, procurement, construction and handover.

From day one you’ll join a structured development programme, work with experienced advisers and managers, and build broad technical, commercial and project management capabilities for a long-term career in a leading consultancy.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months' relevant experience (excl placements) and a bachelor's degree in one of the listed disciplines.
• Proactive, well organised and enthusiastic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to use initiative and work independently, with good organisational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, plus an interest in managing projects for clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting client and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Assisting with the planning, programming and coordination of projects.
• Monitoring project progress, risks, actions and key deliverables.
• Supporting procurement and contract administration activities.
• Assisting with project financial management and forecasting.
• Coordinating information and communications between clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participating in design reviews, project meetings and site visits.
• Supporting project governance, quality assurance and reporting processes.
• Preparing project updates, presentations and monthly reports.
• Working as part of multidisciplinary project delivery teams to help deliver projects on time, within budget and in accordance with client requirements.
• Developing relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Supporting senior team members in the delivery of technical advisory and project management commissions.
