Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the United Kingdom is offering a graduate opportunity in Technical Project Management and Technical Advisory. You will support the delivery of projects from business case to handover, working with experienced professionals across Education, Health, and Government sectors.

You’ll gain exposure to planning, programming, stakeholder engagement, procurement, and financial management while developing a broad skill set in technical advisory and project management.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months' relevant experience (excluding placements) and a bachelor’s degree in one of the disciplines listed.
• Interest in managing projects and working with clients and stakeholders across public sector programmes.
• Willingness to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and participate in developing technical advisory and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support client and stakeholder engagement activities throughout project lifecycles.
• Assist with planning, programming, and coordination of projects.
• Monitor project progress, risks, actions and key deliverables.
• Assist with procurement and contract administration activities.
• Assist with project financial management and forecasting.
• Coordinate information and communications between clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings and site visits.
• Support governance, quality assurance and reporting processes.
• Prepare project updates, presentations and monthly reports.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Support senior team members in delivery of technical advisory and project management commissions.
