Job summary

CDE Group in Cookstown is seeking a Technical Engineer to design and optimize process solutions using the CDE product range, integrate third‑party equipment, and support presales through to commissioning. You will run plant specifications, perform site visits, and contribute to performance testing and worldwide process commissioning, gaining deep knowledge of CDE equipment and the wet processing industry.

Qualifications

• Experience creating plant technical specifications with input from sales.
• Coordinate design, purchasing and production details for projects.
• Communicate project specs clearly to Sales/Design/Purchasing.
• Support pre/post project investigations and continuous improvement.
• Present data and documents in market-standard formats.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate plant technical specifications through liaising with sales team/customer.
• Work with operations to produce accurate design, purchasing and production details for the project.
• Inform Sales/Design/Purchasing about project specification aspects.
• Perform pre/post project investigations to improve future work.
• Develop/manage the plant specification process to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the sales team with preliminary technical specifications, site visits and technical advice.
• Ensure technical documents are clear and concise for a worldwide audience.
• Process testing of materials to optimise washing plant design and organise schedule testing.
• Record data and report results in professional formats.
