Job summary

ETS Technical is seeking a Project Engineer (Process Design, Installation & Plant Fabrications) in the UK to lead design and installation efforts for chemicals, bio-pharma, food & beverage, and dairy projects. The role covers process design, equipment specification, and on-site commissioning with travel across the UK and abroad.

You will manage projects from concept to handover, prepare cost estimates, and deliver pilot trials at the Wales facility and customer sites.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
Experience in process manufacturing and involvement in designing and specifying process equipment.
Knowledge of thermo/fluid dynamics, instrumentation and control (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong documentation, administrative and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Project management experience (essential).

Responsibilities

Design process flow diagrams and define instrumentation requirements.
Source and procure fluid handling equipment for plant construction.
Supervise workshop-based plant construction and coordinate with workshop staff.
Manage projects from inception to final acceptance, including design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
Conduct risk assessments and safety studies.
Collaborate with customers throughout project progress.
Prepare cost estimates for sales quotations.
Conduct pilot plant trials at the South Wales facility and on customer sites.
Prepare detailed trial reports.
Travel regularly within the UK and occasionally overseas.
