Fusion People Ltd are recruiting a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer for a busy Cookstown site. You will review processes, drive improvements and support new product development with cross-functional teams.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with 3D modelling and ERP/MRP adds advantage. Permanent, with a competitive package and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• An HNC, HND or degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Confident with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with 3D modelling software and ERP/MRP systems.
• Organised, methodical and calm under pressure, with a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing current manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Leading on containment, root-cause analysis and corrective actions when production issues arise.
• Applying lean tools such as 5S, Poka-Yoke and structured problem solving to improve flow.
• Implementing engineering changes on the shop floor and keeping accurate records.
• Carrying out time studies to support production planning and labour management.
• Supporting new product development, advising on tooling and fixtures and overseeing prototype builds.
• Working with cross-functional teams to solve problems and hit deadlines.
