Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Graduate Technical Engineer in High Wycombe to join the Product & Project Engineering team. The role spans design, installation, commissioning and technical support across UK projects, with hands-on duties and customer-facing exposure.

The successful graduate will work on mechanical and electrical deliverables, read technical drawings, support RAMS, and contribute to design and bid activities. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and organized approach to projects.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites; hands-on with equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint; UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from design and procurement through to installation and commissioning.
• Attend customer sites to support installation, upgrades and commissioning.
• Work with Field Service Engineers on troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Provide technical support to customers and contractors by phone and on site.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Assist with RAMS for non-standard equipment and with design requirements for bids.
• Create I/O lists, load lists and commissioning estimates.
• Carry out quality inspections on bespoke equipment and work with manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
