Job summary

MTrec Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. You will create electrical and instrumentation designs, prepare technical docs for subcontractors and develop specifications for essential parts.

Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you’ll support installation, testing and commissioning, review client specs and ensure designs align with safety and performance standards, reporting progress and bottlenecks as needed.

Qualifications

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in an industrial electrical engineering environment preferred.
Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, Inventor).
Understanding of power distribution, control systems and PLCs.
Awareness of IEC and NEC standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Create electrical and instrumentation design concepts and drawings.
Prepare technical documentation for subcontractors and orders.
Review client specifications and translate into designs.
Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and report findings.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers to align design.
Ensure accurate execution of designs within project schedule.
