Axcis Education is working in partnership with a number of mainstream primary and secondary schools in the Birmingham area, and we're looking for full-time Graduate Learning Support Assistants to start ASAP. This role is all about supporting pupils that require 1-1 support with their learning. Some of these pupils will have special educational needs such as autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour. You'll be working closely with individual students in the classroom and helping them stay engaged, encouraging their confidence, and offering calm, consistent support throughout the day. You don't need school experience. As long as you have either voluntary or professional experience with additional needs, we want to hear from you! What we're looking for is someone who's empathetic, reliable, and genuinely wants to support vulnerable young people. If you're kind, patient and keen to make a difference, we'll give you the training and guidance you need.
These roles start ASAP and run full-time during term time, with the opportunity to become permanent after an initial settling-in period. If you're a graduate ready to take your first step into education, mental health or support work, and you want a job where you can make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
