Graduate Teaching Assistant - Haringey, London Borough of Haringey

Protocol Education is currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for long-term placements in primary schools within the Borough of Haringey. This role offers the opportunity to work across various classroom environments, including Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you can choose your preferred locations, with your preferences taken into consideration. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance your skills as a Teaching Assistant. The pay starts from £90 per day.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Have experience working with young children
• Be available to work 5 days per week
• Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
• Manage challenging behaviour positively
• Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals involved with the children
• Supervise activities
• Collaborate with teachers to create bespoke, child-centered educational activities to engage children
• Work with children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
