Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible supply basis across Primary, Secondary and SEND schools in Durham and the surrounding areas. This role offers hands-on classroom experience, supporting pupils academically and emotionally, with opportunities to gain transferable skills and a clear pathway into teaching through CPD and ongoing school placements.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one to boost academic progress.
• Deliver small group interventions to target learning gaps.
• Assist students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusive classroom culture.
• Help create a supportive learning environment where pupils can thrive.
