Job summary

Protocol Education is working with a highly regarded secondary school in Durham seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team. This forward-thinking school is known for its inclusive values and commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic role for graduates considering a future career in education. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve academic success.

You'll work both one-to-one and with small intervention groups, gaining hands-on experience of classroom practice, behaviour management, SEND support, and pupil engagement. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing targeted one-to-one support for students who require additional academic or pastoral guidance
