Job Description:

We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a school in central Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. The school is rated ‘Excellent’ by Estyn and values collective effort, imagination, and independence in education.

The successful candidate will support KS2 teachers, plan and deliver small group and 1:1 support lessons, and work within a busy school environment. This is a full-time, long-term position for the full academic year, with working hours from 8:30 to 15:30 daily.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree (2:2 or above), GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C), at least three months of experience working with primary children, a proven record of improving student performance, eligibility to work in the UK (valid visa), recent classroom references, and a valid DBS/police check.
