Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Bristol is seeking motivated graduates to become Graduate Teaching Assistants across primary and secondary settings. No prior school experience is required, with ongoing support and development provided.

The role offers hands-on experience supporting children and young people, in a variety of school environments across Bristol. You will work alongside teachers to support learning, behaviour, and inclusion, gaining valuable insights into education, psychology and youth work

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils thrive both academically and personally.

You may be:

  • Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • Helping pupils build confidence, engagement and independence
  • Assisting children with additional learning, communication or behavioural needs
  • Supporting social, emotional and mental wellbeing
