Job summary

Hanson Recruitment Ltd is looking to recruit psychology students and graduates to work as teaching assistants at schools in Bristol. We offer flexible, well-paid work opportunities in school settings to both students and graduates with backgrounds in Psychology, Counselling, and Neuro-Science as Teaching Assistants.

The role pays £90 - £105 per day (6.5 Hours), with typical hours 08:30-15:30 during term-time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in any capacity (ideally sports).
• Psychology Degree/Equivalent Qualification or studying towards one.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work between 08:30-15:30 hours during the week term-time.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated support to individual pupils and the other pupils in class.
• Supporting students' academic progress and development.
• Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development.
• Following all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policies.

Pay Rate: £90 - £105 per day (6.5 Hours) (subject to experience and qualifications). The work will be taking place in schools during the week during school hours (0830-1530 Typically).
