We’re working with a welcoming and ambitious school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who are on the lookout for a driven Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. Whether you’re a recent graduate or exploring a new path into teaching, this role offers the perfect foundation — with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups — no two days are the same!
Working closely with class teachers to help deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
Offering 1:1 or small group interventions to boost confidence and progress.
Helping with classroom organisation, behaviour management and learning resources.
Being a positive role model who brings energy, patience, and a strong work ethic.
A graduate (any subject) with a genuine interest in working with young people.
Someone who communicates clearly and builds rapport with students and staff.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
Experience in a school, tutoring, mentoring or youth setting is a bonus – but not essential.
A long-term mindset – someone open to taking a permanent route into education.
Strong, supportive leadership and mentoring for new staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
