Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join our Future Teachers Programme in Bridgwater. You will start as a Cover Supervisor, gaining valuable secondary school experience and getting paid while preparing for a future teaching career.

The role offers PAYE employment, a 23,000–27,000 salary, a January 2027 start, Monday–Friday hours 8:30am–3:30pm, and opportunities to progress toward PGCE and QTS, with access to discounted CPD and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Cover Supervisor, supporting lessons during short-term absences.
• Supervise classes and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Observe experienced teachers and develop classroom skills.
• Assist with coursework and exam preparation.
• Contribute to wider school activities and student support.
• Build confidence when working with young people.
