Job Summary:

Altus Group is hiring Graduate Surveyors across all our offices — Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dartford, Heathrow, London, Reigate, and Bristol. Successful candidates will join teams with exceptional lease consultancy, investor services, and business rates surveyors. The Graduate Surveyor role involves property inspections, research, and supporting senior surveyors. No prior commercial or valuations experience is necessary — just a passion for commercial real estate. We will provide mentorship and full training, including property referencing, valuation, lease consultancy, and business rates legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and measure client properties
2. Manage client cases
3. Assist surveyors in evidence collation
4. Prepare assessment reports, analyze, investigate, and gather evidence for business rates appeals
5. Formulate appeals
6. Maintain company records and databases
7. Communicate with clients verbally and in writing
8. Deliver excellent client service, building positive relationships and addressing queries
9. Achieve team KPIs and contribute to overall team and company success

Key Qualifications:

• University degree — a Real Estate or property-related degree is advantageous
• Full driving license and access to a car (not essential if based in central London)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• High attention to detail
