Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer in Cambridge to join a supportive team of engineers, designers and consultants. You will contribute to designing structures that form the backbone of the built environment, learning from experienced engineers and developing through the Curtins Graduate Academy.

You will gain exposure to projects across residential, education, healthcare and commercial sectors, developing your technical and professional skills while working with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with structural calculations and analysis.
• Developing designs using materials such as steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Producing technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Supporting projects through design development and construction.
• Working with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Learning how structural engineering decisions influence project outcomes.
• Building understanding of project delivery and client requirements.
