Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team. You'll gain hands-on experience on projects shaping communities, from transport hubs to education and housing, and work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

From concept to construction, you’ll develop design skills, perform calculations, prepare drawings and BIM models, and support site activity while pursuing professional accreditation through our Graduate Development

Qualifications

• You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Interest in building design, structural engineering and sustainable construction.
• Keen to learn, collaborate across project teams and pursue professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural calculations, review design information and attend coordination meetings.
• Prepare drawings and BIM models, and support site activity.
• Learn how materials like steel, concrete, timber and masonry are used in practical building designs.

Education

Civil or Structural Engineering degree (2:2 or on track for 2:2)
