Henry Gunn & Co. is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Glasgow/Edinburgh team. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to design calculations, drawings, and reports across rail, transportation, energy, and civil sectors.

The role blends office and site work, with exposure to project lifecycle from tender to delivery. The successful candidate will hold a degree in civil or structural engineering, possess strong English communication, and be keen to develop

Competenze

• Degree in civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong English communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to learn and develop towards Incorporated/Chartered status

Mansioni

• Assist with preparation and development of engineering designs, calculations, reports and drawings
• Support senior engineers across rail, transportation, energy, and civil sectors
• Contribute to fee proposals and tender submissions
• Attend site visits and surveys under guidance to gain practical experience
• Ensure work follows relevant design codes and quality assurance procedures
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and documentation
