Job summary

Stantec in Gloucester is inviting graduates to join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will work within our Buildings discipline alongside civil and structural engineers, gaining hands-on experience on diverse building projects across Gloucestershire and nationally.

You’ll contribute to structural analysis, drawings, inspections, and meetings while developing your professional accreditation with IEng or CEng as you progress through a supported career path.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in BEng Civil or Structural Engineering.
Familiarity with structural analysis and design software.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office.
Interest in working in the Buildings sector.

Responsibilities

Support the Structural Engineering team in design and delivery of building projects.
Undertake structural analysis and design calculations, prepare specifications and drawings.
Carry out structural inspections and attend project meetings.
Develop practical, safe and sustainable design solutions with experienced engineers.
