Base pay range

Job Position: Graduate Software Tester – via the Graduate Development Programme

Application Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 or above in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subject
  • Previous experience in software testing
  • Strong SQL skills – ideally used in a previous role
  • Ability to work on site 5 days a week
  • Right to work in the UK unsponsored for the duration of the programme

About the role:

Working for a highly regarded energy company, the Software Tester would work as part of a software development team. In this key role, the Software Tester would be responsible for ensuring the software’s reliability, functionality, performance, and overall quality before it is released to users.

This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and customer-centric focus. Successful applicants will communicate with key stakeholders and work closely with software developers, business stakeholders, project support teams, and end users.
