Job summary

Fawkes and Reece, a leading civil engineering contractor, seeks a motivated Graduate Site Engineer / Site Engineer to join the Network Rail CP7 Western Framework. You will support delivery of civil schemes and AFA works across the Bristol and Swindon region while gaining practical field experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or HNC/HND equivalent required.
• UK working rights with no sponsorship options.
• Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle due to site locations.
• PTS and CSCS tickets held or in scope.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and site documentation for upgrade packages on Network Rail assets across Bristol/Swindon region.
• Conduct topographic, drainage, ground investigation and ecology surveys.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation and site records.

Overview:

My client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Site Engineer / Site Engineer to join their team on the Network Rail CP7 Western Framework. In this role, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, including a range of exciting Civil Engineering schemes and AFA works.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their expertise, take on greater responsibility and play a key role in delivering high-profile rail infrastructure projects within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

My client is open to recently qualified Civil Engineering or Construction Management graduates. Alternatively, they would also be interested in individuals with 1-4 years of UK Construction Industry experience.

In addition, the company will pay all travel and accommodation for those staying away during the week.

This position is based between Bristol and Swindon although there will be travel well into the Southwest and South Wales so candidates must be open minded to this.

Role / Responsibilities:

• The role will involve setting out and site documentation for enhancement upgrade packages on existing Network Rail Assets primarily across the Bristol and Swindon region.
• Valid driving licence and vehicle are required due to the remote nature of site locations.
• IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Certification highly desirable
• Scope of work includes:
