Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is hiring a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Hounslow. You will support pupils with SEN 1:1, in small groups and during Phonics sessions, assisting with activities and classroom management.

The role requires patience, empathy and strong teamwork. An Enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to apply; immediate starts and ongoing recruitment support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs, 1:1, small groups and Phonics sessions.
• Assisting with learning activities and classroom management
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual pupil needs
