Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Graduate Security Systems Engineer to join our physical security team. You will develop expertise in the design, specification and implementation of physical security measures on a range of projects, supported by senior engineers and an IET-accredited development programme.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate security solutions in complex built environments and contribute to Security Needs Assessments and Threat, Vulnerability and Risk

Qualifications

• A degree in system, electrical, electronic, IT & communications systems or aeronautical engineering, on track to achieve a 2:1/60% or higher.
• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the design, specification, and implementation of physical security measures across a range of projects.
• Work within multi-disciplinary design teams to integrate security solutions into complex built environments.
• Contribute to Security Needs Assessments and Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments.
