Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Security Systems Engineer to join its London-based physical security team. You will develop expertise in design, specification and implementation of physical security measures across diverse projects, supported by senior engineers and a structured development programme accredited by the IET.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to Security Needs Assessments and Risk Assessments, and pursue chartership through RSES and the Security Institute as part of

Qualifications

• A degree in system, electrical, electronic, IT & communications systems or aeronautical engineering, on track to achieve a 2:1/60% or higher.
• Full working rights in the country of application.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the design, specification, and implementation of physical security measures across a range of projects.
• Work within multi-disciplinary design teams and integrate security solutions into built environments.
• Contribute to Security Needs Assessments and Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments in collaboration with threat specialists.
