Job summary

Bidwells in Inverness is seeking a motivated Graduate Rural Surveyor to join our Rural Estate Management and Professional team. You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio and work with a high-profile client, developing your surveying career.

You’ll join our two-year graduate development program, designed to enhance personal effectiveness, commercial acumen and client delivery skills, laying a robust foundation for a successful career in the property sector.

Qualifications

• Cognate RICS accredited degree, 2:1 or above (or equivalent).
• A-Levels and GCSEs (including English and Maths) at grade C/5 or above (or equivalent).
• Beneficial to have demonstrable work experience within the property sector.
• Solid understanding of land and property.
• Strong IT capability including confident use of Word, Excel, Outlook and online research tools.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supporting senior surveyors across valuations, diversification projects, business planning and landlord & tenant matters.
• Assisting day-to-day estate management including inspections and tenancy agreements.
• Supporting property management activities such as tenant liaison and rent reviews.
• Preparing maps, plans and supporting documentation.
• Maintaining records and assisting reporting and data analysis.
• Assisting with rent administration and arrears management.
• Supporting client reporting and adherence to policies.
