Job summary

AccelerComm Ltd is seeking a graduate engineer to join the team in Southampton. You will work alongside experienced engineers across software, FPGA, ASIC and test disciplines, contributing to development, integration and validation of AccelerComm's technology.

A significant portion of the role involves working with RF hardware and test equipment, developing test methods and analyzing wireless communication systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Communications/Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in software, FPGA or ASIC development from projects or placements.
• Programming in C/C++, Python or MATLAB.
• Scripting with Python, Bash, TCL or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication of technical ideas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, integration and verification of AccelerComm products and IP.
• Develop software and scripts for test automation, data analysis and characterization.
• Work with RF test equipment to support development and validation activities.
• Help develop calibration and test methods for wireless systems.
• Assist in investigating system performance and engineering defects.
• Contribute to technical docs, test reports and reviews.
• Collaborate across software, FPGA, ASIC, systems and hardware disciplines.
• Apply engineering processes, tools and development practices.
