Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Engineer to kick off a career in renewables and offshore wind. You will work alongside structural, geotechnical, mechanical and other specialists to integrate inputs into practical, high-quality solutions for clients.

You will contribute to offshore wind structural and geotechnical analysis, integrated loads, and project delivery, with exposure to design, analysis, and commercial aspects of renewables projects, including floating offshore wind and hydrogen.)

Qualifications

• A relevant engineering, physics, mathematics or other strongly quantitative degree or equivalent, expecting a 2:1 or above.
• Interest in developing a professional career in renewables and offshore wind with a view to obtaining relevant professional accreditation in time.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data, check results, identify trends and explain the engineering significance of your findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with offshore wind turbine and foundation engineering analyses and design tasks.
• Contribute to calculations, models, technical specifications and peer review of outputs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Arup and with external organisations to deliver projects.
