Job summary

Kent is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its UK-based teams in London, Aberdeen, or Edinburgh. The role involves contributing to offshore wind and oil & gas projects, from concept design to operation, with exposure to life extension and asset integrity tasks.

The program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and a clear development path within a global graduate scheme, with a hybrid working model requiring three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written).
• Graduate eligibility: due to graduate in 2027 or within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess and design multi-disciplinary offshore oil & gas and wind projects from concept to operation.
• Develop life extension plans for ageing structures and assess upgrades.
• Create and interrogate finite element models using various software/tools.
• Interface with clients to discuss engineering solutions and project delivery.
• Support business development and work-winning activities.
