Job summary

2H Offshore are looking to add a Graduate Engineer to their team in Aberdeen. The Graduate Engineer's work will involve system design, structural and dynamic analysis of offshore structures, with exposure to fabrication, installation and integrity management.

There is strong emphasis on technical excellence and career development within 2H Offshore and the wider Acteon Group, with opportunities to broaden experience across offshore renewables and oil and gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering with 2.1 minimum.
• Strong problem-solving and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with software tools is advantageous, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities and dynamic structural analysis for subsea, platform and renewable structures.
• Ensure structural and fatigue performance meets functional, fabrication, and in-service needs.
• Communicate results to team and clients via meetings and reports.
• Prepare proposals.
• Utilize software packages such as Flexcom, Orcaflex, SACS, ANSYS and SolidWorks.
• Work independently and with stakeholders to build strong client relationships.
• Opportunity to progress into leading small teams and project scopes.
