Job summary

AECOM is seeking collaborative graduates to join the Systems Engineering & Systems Assurance (SESA) team on a Graduate Development Programme. You will work across the engineering lifecycle with disciplines such as signalling, telecommunications, rolling stock, track, civils, stations, power, operations and maintenance.

Initially you will be mentored by experienced engineers and later take ownership of defined technical activities and work packages as you develop your capability in systems

Qualifications

2:1 degree in Systems Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
Interest in rail systems and multidisciplinary engineering.
Clear communication and teamwork in cross-disciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

Support Systems Engineering, Systems Integration and Systems Assurance activities on live rail and infrastructure projects.
Contribute to system definitions including boundaries, interfaces and contexts.
Support requirements management, traceability and change control.
Assist with verification and validation planning and technical reviews.
Assist in developing engineering plans, assurance reports and compliance records.
Develop understanding of railway standards and regulatory requirements.
