Job summary

Telent is looking for Engineering Graduates to join its Rail Division. You’ll work on real projects across Electrical, System, Project and HS2 engineering, while learning new skills toward IET accreditation. The role offers flexible hybrid working with office, home, and site activities.

You’ll gain practical experience, mentoring and opportunities to progress as part of a structured early careers programme, within a safety‑first, customer‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Electrical, System, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Computer Science (or due to graduate this year).
• Willingness to learn on live rail projects and undertake CPD towards professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Work on live rail projects with experienced engineers.
• Assist with design, planning, installation and commissioning of rail infrastructure.
• Support safety and quality in all project activities.
• Undertake site visits, interpret technical drawings, and perform risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders, developing reporting skills.
• Contribute to project meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
