Job summary

Telent, part of M Group, is seeking a Graduate Networking Engineer to join the Highways Division. You’ll work on live projects, gain practical experience, and learn new skills while pursuing IET accreditation. The role is hybrid with office, home, and some site-based activity, offering a pathway to professional growth.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, handle Level 3 remote support, and contribute to documentation, testing and deployment across networks and platforms.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Network Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or due to graduate this year).
• Strong understanding of Networking, Internet Protocols and cyber security.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work on live projects alongside experienced engineers.
• Provide Level 3 remote technical support across network and management platforms.
• Develop and support DevOps tooling, automation and orchestration.
• Lead innovation projects from design to implementation.
• Maintain network documentation and project records.
