Job summary

JLL is offering a graduate trainee programme in Cost Management with a 2–3 year pathway toward Chartered Quantity Surveyor via APC. You will gain real, on‑the‑job experience from day one while working towards professional qualifications.

You’ll be involved in cost research, budgeting, and reporting, with site visits and exposure to our real‑time cost-management tools. A strong interest in the property industry and technology will help you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Degree – minimum 2:2 in any discipline; ideally QS-related
• Demonstrate a passion for Quantity Surveying and interest in property industry
• Keen interest in emerging technologies and their impact on the profession
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail; methodical approach
• Ability to connect with others and build relationships, eager to grow in the role

Responsibilities

• Engage in real work from day one to help clients achieve ambitions
• Research and calculate design costs to create budget estimates
• Monitor project spend and report costs within budgets
• Visit sites to check project progress and collect data
• Prepare reports and contract documents for clients
• Embrace technology and use cost-management applications
• Keep up-to-date with market trends and legislation affecting work
• Build relationships across the business and with clients
