Job summary

JLL in London is recruiting a Quantity Surveying Graduate on a 2–3 year trainee programme starting 6 September 2027. You will join the Cost Management team and work toward Chartered Quantity Surveyor status via the APC route.

You will engage in real work from day one—researching costs, monitoring spend, visiting sites, and preparing reports using our digital tools. You’ll build client relationships and develop technical knowledge through structured training.

Qualifications

• Degree – 2:2 (predicted or achieved).
• Bachelor's or Master's in Quantity Surveying desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for Quantity Surveying.
• Interest in the property industry and how we can shape its future.
• Interest in emerging technologies and opportunities they bring to the profession.
• Strong numerical ability with attention to detail.
• Able to connect with others and build relationships.
• Eager to grow in the role and develop skills with us.
• Curious mindset to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Get involved in real work from day one to help clients achieve ambitions.
• Research and calculate design costs to create budget estimates.
• Monitor project spend and report on costs to keep budgets.
• Visit sites to check on project progress.
• Prepare reports and contract documents for clients.
• Embrace technology with our cost-management applications.
• Keep up to date with market insights and legislation.
• Build relationships across the business and with clients to deliver great service.
• Participate in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge and development.
