Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Doncaster is recruiting a Graduate Quantity Surveyor on our 2027 Early Careers programme to contribute to major infrastructure projects across South Yorkshire.

You will gain hands-on experience in cost management, procurement, and project controls while developing commercial, analytical and professional skills through mentoring and a structured development programme. The role involves regular site visits and requires a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field with 2:2 honours.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, valuations, budgets and financial performance information.
• Measure completed works and assess costs against budgets, forecasts and contracts.
• Assist with subcontract procurement activities including tendering, supplier engagement, subcontract preparation and commercial evaluations.
