Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to start a structured two-year development programme on live projects in the West Midlands, including education, health and defence sectors. You’ll rotate through cost management, procurement and reporting, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

You’ll work with experienced teams to contribute to budgets and commercial decisions, while pursuing RICS accreditation with mentoring and APC support as part of a clear path to becoming a

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (2:2 or above).
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards by Feb 2027).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Placement or site experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions.
• Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers to obtain best value.
• Track project costs, valuations and payments to keep projects on track.
• Assess and manage risks, opportunities and variations.
• Produce clear reports and documentation for clients and project teams.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop skills in industry-standard systems and digital tools for commercial management.
