Job summary

Bimplus, a dynamic construction consultancy in London, is looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. This role offers hands-on exposure to live residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.

You will work with experienced cost consultants, assisting with estimates, cost planning, tendering, valuations, and financial reporting, while gaining a strong understanding of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and progressing toward MRICS.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Strong numerical, written, and communication skills.
  • Keen to begin APC process and progress towards MRICS.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
  • Assisting with tender documentation and contractor comparisons.
  • Helping assess valuations, variations, and payment applications.
  • Maintaining accurate cost records and project information.
  • Attending client meetings, site visits, and progress reviews.
  • Working alongside senior surveyors across all project stages.

Job description

A dynamic construction consultancy based in Hammersmith is looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a hands‑on environment, gaining direct exposure to live projects across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments.

The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will work closely with experienced cost consultants, supporting projects from initial feasibility through to completion. You will assist with estimating, cost planning, tendering, valuations, and financial reporting while building a strong understanding of both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.

This role would suit a motivated Quantity Surveying graduate who is keen to learn, take on responsibility, and work towards MRICS. You will receive structured support, practical project experience, and clear guidance throughout your professional development.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities:
